Ravello is one of the pearls of the Amalfi Coast, located halfway between Amalfi and Positano. Famous for its quiet atmosphere, the city offers various monuments of elegance. The Cathedral of Ravello, rich in elements such as the bronze doors adorned with 54 rectangular panels enclosing scenes from the life of Christ, is definitely worth a visit. In addition, immersed in a large park with Mediterranean vegetation, waterfalls, flowers and terraces overlooking the sea, is situated Villa Rufolo. It was in this wonderful scene in 1880 Wagner drew inspiration for the composition of his opera Parsifal. In his memory, every year in the garden of the villa, the concerts of the Ravello Festival. Other noteworthy monument is Villa Cimbrione that was purchased in 1904 by William Beckett who turned it into a villa of exceptional charm.
