Massa Lubrense

Also known as the village of Casali, Massa Lubrense is composed of a myriad of small villages, located in the heart of the sea or hills rich in vegetation overlooking the Sorrento Peninsula. Location not directly affected by mass tourism, Massa Lubrense maintains its secluded nature of the nearby Sorrento and preserves flavors and ideas that have disappeared elsewhere, like the ancient farm buildings. Its location is about 5 km from Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi and makes it easily accessible by bus. A valuable mix of history and nature distinguishes this village and you'll discover a variety of things ranging from numerous archaeological sites, with Greek and Roman era ruins (of Punta Campanella, il Deserto, Termini) to the beautiful nature trails, up to suggestion of Mediterranean houses that characterize the fishing villages of Marina della Lobra and Marina di Puolo.
